El Paso Water is a public utility serving the city of El Paso, TX. Their communications team wanted a more robust multimedia news center that would display the various types of media they have. CultureSpan, a local advertising agency, approached us to assist with the custom design and development of this website. The result is WaterWatch –  a vibrant, content-rich site that effectively incorporates El Paso Water branding and colors.

The Overview

From the initial page, users can navigate from general news items to multimedia to newsletters all within a few clicks. Not able to find what you need? Simply use the search bar up top. ¿Prefieres Español? ¡No te preocupes! Selecciona tú idioma preferido usando la función de Google Translate.

The homepage contains a rotating banner to highlight key stories as well as a Twitter feed and Features item tab. The Features tab houses the latest news and events. Here, users are able to select and filter a particular topic of interest. Prefer to dive deep into the inner workings of El Paso Water? Click the Newsletters tab to find out more.

The News section contains all of the latest articles sortable by topic. Users can also view archives or skip over to News Releases on the El Paso Water website. The Multimedia section contains infographics, videos, slideshows, reports and more! Again, users can filter and sort by their preferred topic or type.

Meet the team by clicking the About Us tab. Here, you’ll get to know the brilliant communications team at El Paso Water. Need to stay up-to-date via email? The Newsletter Sign Up tab gives users the opportunity to subscribe for any of their publications or news releases.
