Website Overview

The updated website design is based on standards and best practices including logo placement, calls to action, and header navigation. We applied a clean, modern style that keeps users focused on their purpose. The color palette is simple, building on their brand identity and customer recognition. Similarly, real-time graphics are programmed and styled for consistent branding. In addition, stylized headers, bold text, and clear calls to action help users to easily locate new content. A custom content management system gives El Paso Electric the ease of managing their website. From custom form creation to drag and drop functions, the backend of the website is as user-friendly as the frontend. 

One of the main challenges was to organize the vast amount of content that would cater to each audience. Our friends at CultureSpan took on the task to coordinate, write, and enter a majority of the information on the new site. As a result, users can easily gain access bill pay, meeting notices, filings, logins, compliance documents, or other data.

User Experience

The new website resizes to fit any screen. This makes it easier for customers to access their account and report outages on any device. Priority content and main calls to action are displayed above the fold. A peek-a-boo view teases content below the fold and encourages users to scroll down. The top-level site index in the page footer and a search bar at the top of the page provide more options to locate relevant information.
